The sun was beating pleasantly down through the canopy high above you as you and Matthew wondered carelessly through the thick forest. Birds were singing their songs, small creatures scurried through the undergrowth and leaves cracked beneath your feet. Matthew was leading the small expedition, showing you through the forest like he had been here hundreds of times before.
“Uh, Matthew,” you called and stopped walking.
“Yes what is it (name)?” Matthew asked as he turned around. His hair was a bit ruffled from all the hiking.
